PAC Alarm Event Manager (2200 Series Controllers)
The PAC Alarm Event Manager (AEM) is an optional device, connected to a reader channel on a PAC door controller. The AEM allows the PAC access control system to perform building management tasks by controlling and monitoring other equipment and systems on site.
Typically the Alarm Event Manager is used to in situations such as monitoring emergency exit doors, windows, central heating boilers, etc. When an emergency exit door, normally kept closed is opened, it activates a relay, creating an alarm event.
