Stanley Security Products the manufacturer and supplier of PAC Access Control and GDX Door Entry products has appointed David McGaw as their new general manager.
With over 18 years experience in the security industry, David was part of the management team that helped to form GDX Technologies in 1998 and has been engineering director of GDX since 2006 when the business was acquired by Stanley.
In his new role he will be drawing on his extensive experience, particularly within the electronics design and manufacturing environment, to deliver supply chain efficiencies and continue to provide the ongoing support and service for Stanley’s industry leading PAC Access Control and GDX Door Entry products.
Commenting on his new role he said: “I am delighted to take up this senior management position and to be able to focus on developing indirect business by working with all our leading brands such as PAC and GDX. Our business model is very strong and we have a real opportunity to grow market share.”
David succeeds Alistair Compton who moves over to Stanley’s UK direct business as Operations Director. He said: “I’d like to wish David all the very best in his new position. He takes over a very successful and dynamic sales team and will be working with an excellent network of dealers and distributors that, even in these tough, ever-changing conditions, continue to offer exciting business potential.”
