PAC EasiNet Residential access control highlighted at IFSEC

Responding to a growing need to help keep residential property secure but administration to a minimum, PAC will highlight its tried and tested EasiNet Residential visitor management and electronic access control solution at IFSEC.

Designed specifically for the residential housing application, EasiNet Residential is ideal for housing managers and staff who have the constant worry about controlling access to their buildings or specific areas.

Based on Microsoft NET™ technology, and fully integrated with door entry panels and video handsets, the product can support up to 5,000 separate residential blocks and a database of up to 20,000 key holders.

Designed around the needs of tenants and system users, the product includes a number of features intended to keep installation and administration costs to a minimum.  GSM or modem links, for example, can reduce the complexity of managing multiple systems and sites, even if they are spread over a large geographical area.

The centrally managed system increases the speed of tenant response, whilst staff and contractors requiring access to service, maintain or deliver to residential blocks can also be more effectively managed.  One of the main benefits of the software, for example, is the simplicity of adding, moving or deleting a PAC keyfob, with staff able to add or re-programme new tenants after only the minimal amount of training.

The PAC EasiNet Residential access control solution has also been designed with DDA compliance in mind. It has features which help make secure areas equally accessible to disabled people, including additional door entry time and high visibility readers placed at various wheelchair height locations.

As crime continues to blight many residential properties, and the duty of care for housing associations and local authorities to protect residents comes under ever greater scrutiny, EasiNet Residential is a welcome addition to residential housing security.
